To help: this is specifically the room with the "bonfire", the mini-checkpoint. Not the big crystal. In this room, just in front of where the Blood Tinged Ring is (it should be on a plinth that overlooks the Red widow Armour set.), there is a bunch of pots. Break those, there's a drop down hidden behind them. This takes you to a tiny room that connects to a long hallway. There should be a stream of water as well. Instead of climbing up to go down the hallway, go RIGHT. There'll be a 'waterfall', and you should see a small area you can crouchwalk into. Downthat water way is the skeleton with the key to the storeroom that takes you to the gauntlet before the armour.
(to clarify; the armour is a little sarcophagus. You won't know its the armour until you open the sarcophagus.)
