Override Pin is a Quest Item in Remnant 2. Quest Items are used to unlock or advanced through certain quests or main story quests, as well as unlocking and discovering certain areas. Key Items are specifically found in specific areas of a Location, given by NPCs or looted from Enemies and Bosses.
How to Use Override Pin in Remnant 2
Override Pin is used in the following Quests or Location:
- Use it on the diamond shaped hole on the terminal that begins the boss fight with Sha'Hala: Spectral Guardian of N'Erud before interacting with the terminal itself. By doing this, when the fight is over the boss will drop Void Cinder. A material that can be used to craft the long gun Aphelion
- WARNING: You will immediately be returned to Ward 13 after the fight, and unable to return to N'Erud during your current scenario/adventure. Be sure to finish any business on N'Erud before doing this.
- Feeding the Override Pin at the Nightweaver's Web Event will grant players the Tormented Heart.
- Does not transfer from adventure mode to campaign or vice versa. (Likely due to being a quest item)
How to Find Override Pin in Remnant 2
Override Pin can be found in:
- The Override Pin is inside an unnamed tower in Timeless Horizon. The tower has an elevator that leads to a statue that resembles the ones that have seekers keys. There is an opening you can enter on the right side of the room. Follow the path and you will find it.
Remnant 2 Override Pin Notes & Trivia
- Using this item prevents you from returning to N'Erud during your campaign. Be sure to finish any content you have yet to complete before finishing Sha'Hala.
- Using the Override Pin also prevents you from finishing The Custodian's quest, locking you out of the Embrace of Sha'Hala until adventure mode or campaign re-roll.

When you go up the elevator, take a right just before the steps up to the Ionic Crystal. There is some stairs going down, follow that path. It will take you to another elevator that will take you further up. You will go straight across to ANOTHER elevator that will take you down. This will take you to a room with a statue holding a bright orb, the Override Pin is at the base of the statue.

Ride the Elevator to the top and on the right side just before the long stairs... the guide made it seem you find it before the elevator

Someone said that ist probably can found in the 2nd tower.
Can anyone Tell me the name of the checkpoint and the way to the tower?

For those who can't find it: sometimes it appears in the same tower as the second seeker key. If you can't find another tower, explore that tower thoroughly and you'll find a ramp in the room with the key (after taking the elevator up) that goes down to a middle level. Follow that and you'll eventually reach the key

The overiride pin can be used to get Tormented heart by giving it to the nighweaver web.

NEVERMIND. The Wiki makes it seem like the pin is on top of the stairs. If you look around there should be a opening in the room on the right side, look for it, and go explore to find it.

I cleared out the entire map of TImeless Horizon and there is only 1 unnamed tower and it did not have the override pin in it. In the center of my map is the navigational room ship. wtf?

Dont use this key If you want to continue exploring after defeat last boss.

There is a mistake here. The pin allows you to fight a separate version of Sha'Hala. Spectral version and the Physical version are two entirely separate fights with two separate mechanics. Doing the fight without the pin allows you to fight spectral while the pin enables his physical form.
