Lighthouse Key

Quest Item

This is supposed to be a key of some sort, but you've never seen one quite like this. The shape is peculiar and there's a weird handle that won't stay in place. The rusted metal tells you it's spent a great deal of time near the water.

Lighthouse Key is a Quest Item in Remnant 2. Lighthouse Key is a Quest Item obtained by defeating Gorecarver and Thunderpiercer in Derelict Lighthouse. It is a brand new Quest Item debuting in the Remnant 2 The Awakened King DLC.

How to Use Lighthouse Key in Remnant 2

Lighthouse Key is used in the following Quests or Location:

  • Used to open the door in the Lighthouse.
  • Can be interacted with to open a secret room below the lighthouse, accessible by going to the side of the wooden bridge leading up to it. Inside you will find the Sparkfire Shotgun.
  • If you interact with the key FIRST to get the Sparkfire Shotgun in the room below, the key isn't consumed. Then, after getting the shotgun you can interact again with the key to open the second door and get the ring. You have to do it in that order. Cause the key is only consumed when you open the door of the lighthouse. This was a bug and is now fixed.

They have since patched it so the key disappears no matter which door is used first. Will need to run through again to get ring or gun, whichever you didn't get the first time

I was able to get both the shotgun and the ring due to the key staying in my inventory after using it on one of the doors.
