A powerful essence swirls at the center, desperately trying to pull the shattered rocks back together. Though the pieces seem forever broken, you sense that whatever this is, it belongs to someone - and it is precious.

Cherished Fracture is a Quest Item in Remnant 2. Cherished Fracture it is the most important item in the DLC, since it is what Lydusa refers when she talks about her precious thing. It is a brand new Quest Item debuting in the second DLC of the game, The Forgotten Kingdom.

 

How to Use Cherished Fracture in Remnant 2

Cherished Fracture is used in the following Quests or Location:

  • Bring it back to Lydusa at the Bloodless Throne, in Yaesha. This will trigger a fight with her, after partially regaining her physical form;
  • If you talk to Walt while having the Cherished Fracture in your inventory, he will steal it from you and show up at the Bloodless Throne using it in an attempt to control Lydusa, to no avail. This will also trigger a mandatory fight between the player and Lydusa;
  • Alternatively you can use the Cherished Fracture in Godess's Rest, on the golden offering bowl over the altar inside Lydusa's Temple. This will help her regain her original form as Lydusa (NPC) and skip the fight with her as a boss.

 

How to Find Cherished Fracture in Remnant 2

Cherished Fracture can be found in:

  • Can be found in Luminous Vale, Yaesha, inside the giant statue with the hands crossed over its chest;
  • Players have to have freed the waters first, and then be able to use the lever in front of the statue to move its hands and allow passage.

      Anybody had an issue where the cherished fracture doesn't spawn? its not in the bowl once you turn the water on and activate the statue to cross.

        Can bring this item to Goddess's Rest (unsure if that's the correct dungeon name) and interact with a bowl in the temple. Provides a different ending to Lydusa and a unique flail.
