Abyssal Hook is a Melee Weapon and is one of the Weapons in Remnant 2. Abyssal Hook is a heavy weapon that has the ability to inflict significant damage. An anchor originally crafted for a different purpose, which has been adapted into a merciless weapon. It is a brand new Melee Weapon debuting in the Remnant 2 The Awakened King DLC

Legend has it that the Sunken Witch has a number of calling cards. First, a mirthless laugh that is often the last thing her victims hear. Second, an anchor she acquired from a ship after bludgeoning its crew to death. Lastly, a complete lack of mercy, which is why there are only legends rather than firsthand accounts of the sea witch.

Remnant 2 Abyssal Hook Notes & Trivia

  • A giant anchor repurposed as a weapon. It's unsettling how something built for function so readily became a merciless killing instrument. The unnerving scraping sound it makes when it's dragged across the ground is the stuff of nightmares.
  • Melee Weapons are up-close and personal Weapons, and can be upgraded as well as bought from Merchants or found throughout the world of Remnant 2.

Not sure what the point of this weapon is other than budget Wrathbringer. While it has insane stagger damage and the perk makes it only crazier, it shares this stat with Wrathbringer without the damage bonus. Makes me wonder if these values are just bugged, as the next closest weapon is Iron Greatsword at 13%.

If you are not after World's Edge weapon but just want good backup melee weapon that stagers a lot this is it. Slap on Transference mutator andy your set. If you want it for actual melee build and not just backup weapon this thing is still good as World's Edge. It just focused more on stagger with its heavy charge attacks rather then range attack like World's Edge. Depending what you looking for you go with one or the other but both are top two-handed weapons if you ask me.
