It is really good but I find that the NightWeaver fight makes it hard to use as often times she will either be too close or too far away for the backstep attack to actually land even if you angle it a bit to compensate.

it seems that you can apply the special attack after only 4 hits, this is because the charge backstep attack is 2 hits.
Great melee choice weapon for the Handler Archetype. The dog applies bleed to targets allowing you to make good use of the bonus damage.

Works great with Shield Breaker Mod. Also the special attack ticks count for Shield Breaker Mod. Main weapon should have Twisted Wounds Mod + 10.

great dps paired with ravager mark and blood jewel. use dying ember ring and blood tinged ring for optional sustain, and invader + challenger for class
The Latency Mutator actually works amazingly with this weapon, lowering the requires number of hits to charge up the phantom strikes. Doing 2 light attacks followed by the back step charged attack will activate the phantom strikes immediately!
