Dreamwavelocked mod

After dealing 250 damage, Charge Attack will release a Dreamwave, flowing outwards 20m and returning to caster.

Dreamwave applies SLOW to all enemies for 10s and grants a Stack of REVERIE for each enemy affected. Each Stack grants +2% to All Damage and +2% Movement Speed, which lasts 15s.

Dreamcatcher is a Melee Weapon and is one of the Weapons in Remnant 2. Dreamcatcher is a versatile melee weapon that excels at controlling wide areas with sweeping swings. It is ideal for crowd control and dealing quick damage in critical situations.

Some believe dreams to be prophecy. Others, a random narrative woven by misfiring synapses. Yet dreams are nothing more than the true essence of the self, the soul untethered-- entirely inscrutable yet imperative to possess.

How to Get Dreamcatcher in Remnant 2

Dreamcatcher use in Remnant 2

Besides being a melee weapon, Dreamcatcher can be used on sleeping Enemies or Npcs

  • Attack The Huntress when found sleeping with the Dreamcatcher and it provides a dream consumable that takes you to "Briella's Reverie" which appears to just be a large map full of normal trash mobs. At some point in the map, The Huntress attacks you again. Defeat her to obtain Sacred Hunt Feather, instead of the Venerated Spearhead. The feather can be crafted into the Familiar weapon mod.
  • Attack Nimue while she is asleep with the Dreamcatcher. She will provide you a consumable called Nimue's Dream. Consume it and that teleports you to an island surrounded by water on all sides. The water is safe to walk around, just trail the edge until you find a glowing turquoise stone(Anamy's Echo). Take it to McCabe and craft the Crescent Moon Bow.
  • Once on Root Earth, there is a big open arena area near the small checkpoint at the Corrupted Harbor, the one in which you get an amulet called the Escalation Protocol. As you pick up the Amulet, you will notice a blue particle effect. Swing the Dreamcatcher there, to obtain a consumable called Walker's Dream. Use it to fight Bane, defeat it to receive the Wooden Shiv. Head back to Ward 13 and talk to Wallace to create the Invader archetype engram, the Serrated Root Blade.

Seems nobody mentioned this problem before. The dream capture (for Nimue at least, the only one where I tried it so far) doesn't seem to work in multiplayer. At first only I, as the invited one, tried to collect it, and nothing happened. Then the host equipped dreamcatcher too, and couldn't collect a dream. Once I left the world, he got it immediately.

Latency Mutator and the Resonance Trait both affect this staff, allowing for charging the staff in 1-3 hits as well as increasing the AoE to a whopping 30 Meters!

You can't use this on Mudtooth even while he's sleeping, so it implies that every time he falls asleep, he's actually faking it.

I really like this weapon, because I've always been a "melee is for utility" kind of player.
The super cool part, is the perk charges off of crates you hit, so I personally always have it charged. In addition, once it's charged, it stays charged even if you stow it!

I have the Amplitude, the AOE size trait, maxed, and it seems to make no difference on the charge attack AOE

The charge attack aoe stops when hitting any obstacle, which is not just walls but also the handlers dog. So the charged attack is essentially unusable if you're playing handler, unless you constantly send the dog far away.

When inspecting there's a button to interact at a certain angle, pulls up quest items though and not sure what to put in.

It would be nice to note that getting Nimue to sleep requires teleporting away from the zone and back multiple times.

does anyone know if killing the final boss makes it so you cant use dreams? i am unable to use the dreams an this is the only idea that makes sense so far.

on a certain angle you can interact with it and insert something, idk what tho, apparently the rebellion spear and the labyrinth staff may have smth like that too

You can interact with the item in your inventory, and it pulls up quest items to add to the weapon. I haven't found the one you can add to it yet. Same with rebellion spear, and atom smasher.

You can use this on sleeping Nimue, sleeping Huntress, and the pod thing on Earth. Seems this weapon opens a lot of secrets, I've been hunting for Archon with it, will update if I find anything else.

                            • Anonymous

Striking the pod that the Escalation Protocol is in Root Earth gives Walker's Dreams.
Seems like these dream consumables are boss fights?
