The Blooming Root Mantis is an Enemy in Remnant 2. Unlike the Root Mantis encountered in Eastport, these specimens are found at the heart of the Root's power. Enemies are hostile creatures that inhabit the different realms that you'll encounter, each enemy has its own unique style and set of attacks that players will need to encounter. Killing different types of enemies will drop different types of items.

 

Remnant 2 Blooming Root Mantis Information

  • Race: Root
  • Weakness: Center of the flower
  • Attacks:
    • Charge: The Mantis advances, clawing the ground in front of it all the while.
    • Cross Slice: The Mantis raises both arms then lunges forward.
    • Claw Rake: The Mantis lunges forward and stabs down, before repeating with the other arm. Can be followed up by a bodycheck.
    • Blade Throw: The Mantis rears up and throws the tips of its mandibles.
      • Has an alternate variant where the Mantis pulls itself backwards before the throw. Both versions can happen one after the other.
    • Corruption Bombs: The Mantis thrashes around, launching several projectiles from the flower on its back. The Bombs leave areas of Data Corruption.
