- Root Horrors can sometimes be found already kneeling in the field, instead of being spawned alongside an enemy wave.
- They can only burrow through earth. Standing on wooden planks or inside Pan buildings will force the Root Horror above ground.

Sometimes it never throws its heart. Makes it nearly impossible to kill (without something like engi fire turret) because basic damage does nothing to it and it can kill you easily once you make a misstep.

Wait for them to throw their glowing orb, then shoot the orb.

**** this creature. I shoot it in the glowing spot in its head 1 dmg per hit. I try to shoot it's glowing core when it tried to pull it out 1 dmg. Keep dying over and over to it in Kaedula's rest. Ready to just uninstall.
Moved the info about the variant to its own page; they share some attacks but they're not really the same enemy.
