The Forbidden Grove has Root Wisps as well Just got it and teleported to the imperial palace for the Full Moon Circlet

      • Do these not necessarily spawn where there's a blood moon? Finally triggered one in imperial garden for the trap door and the amulet, but not a single wisp in sight :/

        • Blood moons can be glitched in Adventure mode in that there will be one in the sky, but there wont be any wisps flying around. Seems the only way to fix this is by switching to campaign and closing the game down, then reload and switch back to adventure mode. The next blood moon you get should be a "real" one and you will get wisps in the large open areas. This also allows you to open blood moon doors, as they are tied to wisps for some odd reason, rather than an actual blood moon in the sky.

Seem to be bugged in adventure mode - you'll get a bloodmoon, but no wisps. Not sure if its 100% of the time or not, but seems to be very often. Hopefully will get fixed, or at the least GFG will stop them preventing blood moon doors from opening.

Can confirm, if you get a blood moon and you get all the essence go in a dungeon and right back out. This will respawn the wisps and keep the blood moon without the enemies respawning. Not sure if this is intended or not

After some farming, I believe the trigger for these guys is any open air biome area with the night/lightning weather set

Don't need to leave Yaesha entirely to get a blood moon. You can go in and out of a dungeon until it happens.

                  • Root Wisps can spawn anywhere open on Yaesha but needs a blood moon to spawn. You have to teleport out of Yaesha entirely and back in and look up to see if the sky is red or not, and doesn't have to be at the far woods (I got some in the Withering Weald before I even knew wtf the essences were for). It's a very rare occurrence annoyingly

Anyone know if these enemies are limited? I got 16 total essence and the Summoner class item before killing the boss that gives access to the altar -- now, no more are spawning and i can't get the armor set.
