Relic Fragments in Remnant 2 are a type of Item. Relic Fragments can be slotted to your current Relic that further boost your Stats. Players can insert upto 3 different Relic Fragments into each Relic. This is just another way in which Remnant II increases character customization, which helps improve build diversity.
How to use Relic Fragments in Remnant 2
Each Relic has three Relic Fragment slots, which offer additional effects and customization options. When you consume a Relic Fragment, it provides specific enhancements to the equipped Relic. The beauty of this system lies in the flexibility it offers to players. You can change the Relic Fragments slotted into your Relic at any time, allowing you to adapt your playstyle or strategy depending on the situation.
In Remnant 2, Relics are consumable items with a limited number of charges that serve multiple purposes. Relics not only provide healing capabilities but also grant various bonuses to the player. These Relics can be found throughout the game world and equipped as any other piece of equipment.
Remnant 2 Relic Fragments Upgrades
As your total archetype level increases, you'll come across more potent Relic Fragments of the same type. The game will automatically replace the existing fragments in your Relic with these stronger versions from your inventory. This means you'll always have access to the most powerful Relic Fragments you possess, enhancing your character's capabilities as you progress through the game.
Tiers of fragments are: Cracked, Ordinary, Solid, Polished, Regal, Flawless, Mythic. Upgrades are based on your total archetypes level (not just your currently equipped two) and the difficulty of the game you're playing on.
Minimum required total archetype level per fragment tier, broken down by difficulty is shown in the table below. Increasing your total archetype level beyond these thresholds will increase the drop rate for that tier of fragment. If you want to acquire higher tier fragments when spending your Relic Dust at Dwell in Ward 13, you can roll an adventure mode on Apocalypse difficulty and spend your relic dust with him, then return to whatever difficulty you desire.

There's also the time it takes to get to Mythic even if you can create an apoc adventure and talking to Dwell. For example, I am at 80 total archetype level. I have all Solid fragments, some at +4 others at +3. I can't just go to Dwell now that I finished my 1st run through and get all Mythic. You first have to upgrade everything to Polished +4, then Regal +4, and then Flawless +4. You can't just go straight to Mythic. Strange how Veteran shows Solid as the highest tier. I've never played anything higher than Survivor and everything is Solid. So what good is Veteran if all I want to do is get Polished?

Easyest way to get higher level fragments: Play on the easyest difficulty (since the effort to level your Archetypes is the best here) once you have some at 10 create a Apocalypse Adventutre and spam your Relicdust at Dwell.

I wonder if the three different colours of these fragments correspond to the three worlds, because it seemed like I was getting alot more red ones in Yaesha

some if not all of these fragments (like resistance) are passive buffs and do not need to use a relic to gain these buffs (fyi)

Why do they all say cracked? Just give us the name, don't say cracked.

You receive higher tiers of Relics from raising *all* of your Archetypes, not just the two you play with.

the devs really need to add a way to sort these dang things. just having them in the order in which i picked them up is annoying

Why is there no fragment of reload speed?
I don't understand the developer's thinking.

Does anyone know what Nightmare can drop?
I've been playing Nightmare for ages (from Total Archetype Level 60-100+) and I seem capped at Polished +4. I've heard that Nightmare should be dropping Regal, but the only Regal I've ever seen was from Nightweaver's Web, which I think guarantees an upgrade.

I'm guessing higher tiers give bigger bonuses. But where are there also "+1" and stuff? Highest I have is "+4" so far.

So I just tried crafting relic fragments with him but he just kept giving me Relic Dusts.. Am I missing something? the highest tier I have is Polished

Do these fragments apply their bonus passively all the time when I equip them to a relic (e.g., dragon heart)? Or do they only apply for a certain time after actually USING the relic (e.g., dragon heart)?

I have recently unlocked polished+4, flawles+4 and regal+4 I believe its in that order for instance I have regal armor effectiveness +4 with + 6.863% armor.

Are the maximum levels capped at 4? Or is there any other way to raise the level cap further?

Ok that's nice but a damage bonus of 1.753% is completely worthless and thats the power levels that most of these are at even when leveled
I was below 40 level and got a few Mythic runes at someone's campagn on apocalypse.
