Robot Hangar is an Event in Remnant 2. Robot Hangar can be found randomly in N'Erud. You will come across a large robot storage area with couple of lock doors.
Remnant 2 Robot Hangar Walkthrough
When traversing a N'Erud location in the N'Erud Stasis Chambers or Infested Facilities, players may come across a large room storing multiple deactivated Robot Grunts.
By ascending a ramp on the side or by climbing a ladder, players will reach a long hallway. There are several locked doors on either side, with dormant Robot Grunts and Shieldbearers behind them. The first door on the left also contains an item.
The doors can be interacted with, but doing so has no effect.
Following the hallway leads into an arena, where an Aberration of a Robot Shieldbearer, W.D. 109, drops from the ceiling.
Do not kill it. For the duration of the fight, coming close to the locked doors opens them and activates the robot behind. Fleeing the arena and returning to the initial room allows players to collect the ring Excess Coil on the way.
Afterwards, players are free to kill the Aberration, which rewards the Transpose Mutator on death, along with Corrupted Lumenite.
NOTE: Killing W.D. 109 before collecting the ring locks the door for the rest of the run. To have another chance to acquire it, players must re-roll N'Erud by starting another adventure or campaign.

This is by far one of the worst designs in gaming. You shouldnt ever be punished for killing a boss fast lmao. Idk what the devs where thinking for this secret. The only people who figured this out didnt kill the boss fast. What I was thinking is you have to shoot some wiring or something, or maybe a room above it. Not "dont play the game and you get rewarded"

Wow what a stupid idea. Hide a ring behind a locked door with an obtuse way to open it. Killed the boss? Oh well just keep rerolling until you get the area again.

The ring you get from behind the door is called Excess Coil - Executing a skill grants a shield for 25% of max health. Cannot stack with itself. Lasts 10s
You do not have to lure the boss all the way to the door, just trigger the fight and then run back past the door. Note that this will also open all the other doors on the way.
