Pounding Piston is an Event in Remnant 2. Pounding Piston is an industrial Event, it's suspected to be found in an open area like Timeless Horizon. Events are situations where a player can obtain special Items like Weapons or Consumables for solving a puzzle or finding a secret area. These events may or may not appear during your play through, requiring a restart or an adventure mode play for a chance of getting them. All Events are bound to their corresponding Locations.
Remnant 2 Pounding Piston Walkthrough
Around the industrial area, you may hear a pounding sound and find out the sound is coming from large pistons hitting the ground and an alarm can be heard around. There's a big door around this area, it can only be opened from inside, but it gives the clue that there's an explorable space below the pistons.
Check the pistons until you find the one that has a hole in the middle on the ground where it's pounding. Crouch, and time the piston to go to the hole and jump down, avoid getting hit by the piston. Once you fall, you will find the Blasting Cap Ring. Proceeding through the tunnels you will find Detonation Trigger near a small cliff.
Be prepared as this underground zone may have an overwhelming amount of N'Erud Zombies, and you may have to quickly search for a place with more room to fight or an exit.
