Quarantine Event is an Event in Remnant 2. Quarantine Event is a timed event that gives you 6:00 minutes to defeat all enemies present in the area. Events are situations where a player can obtain special Items like Weapons or Consumables for solving a puzzle or finding a secret area. These events may or may not appear during your play through, requiring a restart or an adventure mode play for a chance of getting them. All Events are bound to their corresponding Locations.

 

Remnant 2 Quarantine Event Walkthrough

As you enter the event, a recording will tell you that the Quarantine Protocol will take place, unless virulent lifeforms are neutralized.

Players will have to take down all enemies to lift the lockdown in the 6.00 minutes given. There are some crates that players can shoot down to cause explosions.

Alternatively, one can fight a secret boss to get Failsafe. One of the areas will be a large U-shaped walkway in an open area. There is drop down on the outside of this walkway. Following this path leads to a control room with an interactible terminal and the Biome-Control Glyph. Pick up the glyph and active the terminal. The doors will lock and you will have to fight a mini-boss, after which the event will complete. Note that you will fail the event and be locked out of the area if you fail against the mini-boss.

Quarantine Event in Remnant 2 Rewards

  • Completing the event within the time limit, or killing the secret boss, award players with the Siphoner trait.
  • Co-op only: Dying by standing outside of the hidden terminal room or surrounding tunnels while another player initiates a manual override quarantine protocol awards the Resonance trait.
  • Failsafe Mutator is rewarded if the player kills the secret boss.
