Meidra's Sorrow is an Event in Remnant 2. Meidra is one of the trickster demigods of the Pan, sister to Kaeula. Events are situations where a player can obtain special Items like Weapons or Consumables for solving a puzzle or finding a secret area. These events may or may not appear during your play through, requiring a restart or an adventure mode play for a chance of getting them. All Events are bound to their corresponding Locations.
Remnant 2 Meidra's Sorrow Walkthrough
When approached the first thing she will do is take a measure of you, she asks several questions (akin to a personality test) and depending on your answer awards you with either the Barkskin or Bloodstream trait. You can answer the questions selfish (Way of the Ravager) or answer in a way that benefits the most affected people (Way of the Doe). The selfish answers will give you the Bloodstream trait and the selfless answers will provide the Barkskin trait.
Also, if you have the Tear of Kaeula when interacting with her she will eventually note that since you have that ring you have killed her sister, and thank you for doing so. You can then choose to offer her the ring, if you do so it will be removed from your inventory and you will be given the Sorrow hand gun in thanks.

AnonymousCan confirm that if you screw up your answers before she’s finished asking them, force close game and it will be like you talk to her for the first time. Just make sure you grab the stone near her first.

Regarding the answers for her questions, the first answer will always be the ravager answer and the second will always be the doe answer.

Yaesha was my starting world. The first area there was The Forbidden Grove-- found Meidra there at my first checkpoint.

I find interesting that one of her opening lines is "Moo-ZAHR!" That being the English phonetic spelling of מוּזָר , a Hebrew word that translates to strange or peculiar. Interesting that she uses an actual word, that would likely be foreign to the majority of players. compared to many other denizens of Yaesha who intersperse fictional Pan language, such as the usage of "Paxultek" alongside their spoken English dialogue.
Her interspersing Hebrew instead of Pan language is a neat detail and I wonder what led to that decision!

For me she spawned at The Forbidden Grove. Also she is not listed on the "NPC" page, quite confusing

The Dappled Glade can also appear on The Withered Weald so she can appear there as well

Is she not guaranteed to spawn on the map? Looked all around The Far Woods and couldn't find her.

Okay if you try to get the Sorrow twice for an Upgrade, she Just gives you 500+ scrap :/
