Arrest is an Event in Remnant 2. Arrest is an event that can be triggered when meeting The Eternal Empress, where the player is arrested and thrown into a dungeon. Events are situations where a player can obtain special Items like Weapons or Consumables for solving a puzzle or finding a secret area. These events may or may not appear during your play through, requiring a restart or an adventure mode play for a chance of getting them. All Events are bound to their corresponding Locations.
Warning: This event will not be possible if you defeat the Yaesha world boss before encountering the Queen's Assistant, preventing you from obtaining the great sword reward. Instead of being able to fight, the Assistant will say you are already on good terms with the Queen.
Remnant 2 Arrest Walkthrough
To be thrown into the dungeon, you must choose the option with the fight indicator .png "dialogue_fight_icon_(copy)"){kind=icon}
when talking to the Queen's Assistant for the first time, and die to the Pan Warriors attacking you. After that you will wake up in a cell inside a secret part of the castle, the “queen” will confess here that the real queen is the assistant and free you.

i thought they would just kill me and id respawn and try again because thats how videogames work

If you are able to do the engenieer turret skip to glitch through the door, you can get Zohee's Ring from the attendant and still turn in the Ornate Lockbox or Thane Seed.
WARNING! If you decide to the Arrest Route, you will not be able to reenter the Room where you first talk to the Empress after getting thrown into prison. You will be banished, and the door will be sealed shut thus not allowing you to turn in the Ornate Lockbox or the Royal Thaene Fruit.

Did this event, beat the world boss, cannot hand in the thaen seed to the throne empress because real empress that let me out of jail is blocking the door to the throne room. No idea if this is a bug, or a completion condition but it should probably be listed as an outcome.

I'd like to mention this counts as dying to your hardcore character. If you fall to the arrest event might as well alt f4

If you, like me, didn't chose the option to antagonize the assistant first you can talk to her again and there will be an option to backtalk her which siccs the guards on you. You can either just take the beating or roll off the edge to trigger the Arrested event.
Are you still able to get Ornate Lockbox and the seed in it to plant it in your home base?
