The Altar of the Sun is an Event in Remnant 2. Altar of the Sun is a series of jumping sections. Events are situations where a player can obtain special Items like Weapons or Consumables for solving a puzzle or finding a secret area. These events may or may not appear during your play through, requiring a restart or an adventure mode play for a chance of getting them. All Events are bound to their corresponding Locations.
Remnant 2 Altar of the Sun Walkthrough
When traversing locations in Yaesha's Floating Forests, players may come across a root bridge with two ledges near either end, and a large structure visible in the distance.
Only one of the ledges is climbable, doing so leads into the ruin, guarded by a number of Root Flyers.
Immediately to the left players can jump across two gaps to find a small chest. Going to the right leads players past a locked door.
Ascending the path leads to a small jumping section across two pillars. Don't traverse it yet, behind you, you can drop down from the path into the locked room.Within, players can find a golden chest.
The rest is straightforward: climb the tower, walk across a hanging bridge to the second ruin. You'll need to fend off even more Root Flyers and one Empowered Flyer.
At the top you'll find a statue overlooking a golden chest, which contains the Talisman of the Sun.
