The Emissary is a Boss in Remnant 2. The Emissary is a new Boss, added with The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Players can decide to fight him or submit to his will, leading to different rewards. Bosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or "Elite" Enemies, they are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game.

Where to find The Emissary in Remnant 2

The Emissary can be found in the following Locations:

  • Yaesha - Infested Abyss, near the last checkpoint;
  • The Emissary is initially attached to the Root (NPC) and is not hostile. Upon interacting with it, if the player chooses to fight against or not accept the Root inevitability, the boss will detach itself from the Nexus and start the battle.

Remnant 2 The Emissary Strategy Writeup

After traveling through the Root Nexus of the Infested Abyss, players will find The Emissary sitting in his throne. He will not attack immediately, players will be able to engage in conversation with him. This conversation will determine the outcome, if players submit against him, they will receive the Profane Soul Stone, and the Emissary will remain alive. On the other hand, if players don't submit, they will have to face him. Once defeated, he will drop the Near-Sighted mutator.

His combat abilities mostly rely on the affixes he possesses at the start of the fight.

Right Handed Melee Attack: The Emissary performs a downward attack with his right hand. This attack deals massive damage, avoid staying at melee range.
