Cotton's Kiln is a Location in Remnant 2. Cotton's Kiln is populated with Dran and one of the many worlds that can be explored in Remnant 2. Each Location in Remnant 2 will feature unique landscapes, events, dungeons, Bosses, Enemies, and Items.

- You will find a small area where there are two charred bodies. There is a gap in the wall behind them, crouch and pass through it. You will notice that performing this action will lead you "outside" of the map. continue going down until you reach an area in which you will have to jump or fall off, to wooden beams. Mind the gap near the round entrance, there seems to be space to walk freely, but there isn't. Just follow the wooden beam to avoid falling off to your death. After you pass the round entrance, turn left, and you will find Shiny Hog Lure, after climbing that structure. Keep going until the end and climb the wooden structure, to fall off to the sewers. Move along and you will find a lever, activate it. and you will find the Grime Crawler. It has two Suffixes. Defeat it to obtain Twisting Wounds.
- There is a secret path covered with a wood pallet, going through that entrance will take you to some rooftops with ladders you can scale to get to another area. There is the Cleansing Stone, and a Wooden Box in that area. Be careful of the birds as they will divebomb you. The Wooden Box can be interacted with in your inventory with the inspect feature. Inside is the Effigy Pendant.

Grime Crawler Event
Grime Crawler Event is a secret passage that involves jumping and platforming, that leads to the Grime Crawler Aberration. You will find a small area where there are two charred bodies. There is a gap in the wall behind them, crouch and pass through it. Continue going down until you reach the sewers. Move along and you will find a lever, activate it. and you will find the Grime Crawler. It has 2 Suffixes. Defeat it to obtain Twisting Wounds.
Remnant 2 Cotton's Kiln Walkthrough
You can arrive to Cotton's Kiln from Ironborough or Morrow Parish. This area is heavily on fire. As you advance, you will find a makeshift platform, that lets you access a crumbling structure, that is also on fire. Mind that type of damage, as there are a lot of flames, inside the building. As well as many Enemies disguised as charred victims, that will attack you on sight.
Keep heading north, until you will find a second Checkpoint and a door that triggers a cutscene once you enter through it and prepare to face Gwendil: The Unburnt.
Boss Battle: Gwendil, the Unburnt
Gwendil is Dran that fights from a vantage point and throws grenades to the player. She is not the only threat you will face here, minions will spawn alongside her. Mostly common Dran.
Her explosives deal Burning damage, so it is advisable to bring a good amount of resistance against that status.
You can't melee her, since she is up in a platform from which she shoots at you. Remove the mobs first and once she is by herself, the best moment to hit her is when she is about to prepare her grenade. You will have limited time to do this, since more minions will eventually spawn.
A good way to deal damage to her, is to shoot the grenade she is preparing. This will make it blow up and deal damage.
Beware of her grenade rain attack, in which instead of one grenade, she throws five or so grenades. Broadening her range by a significant margin. She will mostly perform this attack after you blow up a grenade she's preparing.
When she is put down, you will receive x4 Lumenite Crystal, a Tome of Knowledge, x1 Alkahest Powder, and Scrap.

I found Fae Hunter Ring here that increase range of firearms by 30%

I went down a sewer system into a narrow area, then suddenly a giant pig thing jumped down and attacked me. Health bar and everything. I died because it's body cornered me, and it didn't respawn

There's a secret area in cotton's kiln that takes you through a tunnel, up a ladder and over some roofs.
When you drop down there are a bunch of the suiciding spirit crows in an alleyway and at the end there's a quest item called the wooden box.
This wooden box can be opened to find the Effigy Pendant
For those wondering it seems Butchers Quarter and Cotton Kiln are NOT interchangeable with each other.
I got both on my second Londsom roll when I was looking for the Effigy and Cleansing Gem items and had to check both for the secret passage.
