Can't imagine who in their right mind would want a cursed trinket like this. And to think someone went through the trouble of obtaining it? Madness, pure madness.

Remnant 2 Nightmare Spiral Effect

Nightmare Spiral provides the following effect:

  • Gain 10% of base Ranged damage dealt as Lifesteal. Reduces Healing Effectiveness by 95%.

Remnant 2 Nightmare Spiral Location

Nightmare Spiral can be found at the following locations:

  • Can be bought from Reggie after defeating at least one variant of every World Boss and Progression Dungeon Side bosses.
    • Only one method of defeating the bosses needs to be performed (i.e. Tal Ratha in their physical form OR Tal Ratha [Metaphysical] but not both, this includes the false princes Faerin & Faelin as the game considers them alternate kills so either counts)
    • Progression Dungeon Side Bosses (i.e. The Astropath, The Custodian's Eye, Abomination, etc) do not need to be in a progression dungeon to count, since they can appear as optional dungeons depending on the boss encountered.
    • Aberrations do not count and are not required for the unlock.

Remnant 2 Nightmare Spiral Builds

Nightmare Spiral is used in the following Builds:

Remnant 2 Nightmare Spiral Notes & Trivia

  • Very useful amulet to counter "Empathy" suffix on bosses.
  • Synergizes with any amulet that increase damage.
  • An eerie piece of jewelry that resembles a twisted vortex of unnatural floating Shards of Root encircling a glowing red core. The Root fragments appear to be suspended in mid-air, as if defying gravity, and seem to writhe and twist in a never-ending dance.
  • Amulets in Remnant 2 are accessories that, once equipped, can grant players diverse benefits. Players can equip one Amulet at the same time, in the designated slot.

If you are going to be taking damage you want to be able to use a relic. This amulet isn't worth the effort to get it.

This is unlocked after beating every world boss once, you don't have to fight both versions of Tal Ratha or of any other boss.

Ok tested this on nightmere. dod full campain with it and the trait that gives you 3%. so together I had 13% Lifesteal. And it worked great at least for my build (Hunter/invaider with Coach Gun and Duble Barrel). More damage you do per shot or as fast as you can the better it works. And as it looks the Lifesteal stacks so there are some other items that can stack Lifesteal (Siphon Hart for example).

Don't know who keeps changing it to add "kill 30 bosses", but that's not right. That unlocks Diverting Heart, not this. Putting misinformation on a page only hurts everyone trying to find it.

I was able to buy Nightmare Spiral after finishing the last unique World Boss variation that I hadn’t done yet.

Coincidentally, after this fight I was also able to buy Constrained Heart, which unlocks after clearing 15 biomes (worlds).

With this information, I think Nightmare Spiral is what is unlocked for purchase after killing all unique World Boss variations, and the Diverting Heart is actually unlocked for completing 30 biomes.

I am keeping a running count moving forward to confirm this about Diverting Heart.

Any one that got this and have tested it? Really wanna know if it is any better at Lifesteal then the Siphoner trait you get. In first game this thing was great.

IM confused on how this works. 10% of ranged damage becomes life steal. So if I deal 500 dmg, I should get 50 hp with one shot. That’s 2-3 shots for max hp. That is NOT how this functions. Is it 10% of 500, then reduced by 95% of that? Who’s a math wiz here.

I have every item in the game but this one as far as I can tell. Multiple play through, apoc and survivor. Every boss killed every mutator and weapon and can't get this to drop. Is it RNG after you complete the goals? I got the 2 hearts cass sells but I had to keep checking my shop and I got them separately after the update for Xbox. Anybody know the actual story on this??

This item unlocks after u have encountered and defeated all Named bosses. This includes all the secret mini bosses in the map. You have to fight what you have not fought yet. Look up all named bosses and see which one your missing.

You get this by killing 30 world bosses, be it campaign or Adventure mode. They have to be final bosses eg. Sha'Hala, Nightweaver etc.

Got thos after killing an NM adventure mode Nightweaver; haven't even completed NM Campaign.
