If you do this quest again on next run and get the amulet again will you have two? So that second one you get can be traded for ring and still you keep the first one or you just still have olny one and lose it if you want the ring?

Tested the day of this comment. Has no effect on Engineer's Turret ammo regen and has no effect on Overclock's cooldown. Shame too, Archon Havoc form + Engineer Overclocked Turret would have been a fantasric combo thanks to Engineer's +50% Skill Damage - a rare bonus.

FOR ANYONE WHO HAS PROBLEMS WITH THE WISP AMULET NOT DROPPING!
You actually do NOT kill the wisp, it will die by itself when you complete the circle. The bug for me where it didnt drop anything was probably caused by my dog companion. I suggest to turn off all summons etc. and not have the dog with you, also do not damage or attack the wisp in any way to be extra safe. Tested it on adventure mode and on my campaign and it works 100% doing this.

Did the quest, got the amulet, then my game crashed. Loaded back in and now the amulet is no longer in my inventory. The npc in the sewers acts as if it is still there on the ground but it isn't.

As for the dungeon itself where this drops.
I was able to clear the objective by grabbing the wisp and going back to the dude with a tricky jump. I thought this was the intended way but this locked me out of the dungeon because you won't be able to open the floodgates afterwards. So be careful.

When I delivered the Wisp creature, the amulet didn't drop. Is that a bug or more RNG bullshit? I honestly can't tell with this game.
