The journey of the glorious moon and her effect on kin-mother Yaesha is a subject of great interest to the Pan, most especially for Pan scholars like myself. The way she goes from emptiness to fullness to emptiness again, never doubting that what is depleted will in time be reclaimed... It fills Ro'thinderahenwalt's heart with hope that the same might be true of his hopes and dreams.

You can bypass the puzzle's logic by using a ranged melee weapon and throwing it at the ground between the moon tiles in a North, South, East, or West manner, no diagonals. If it sticks anywhere into the ground between two moon tiles in a pole direction, then you can walk it safely. If the weapon doesn't get stuck, it'll go through the invisible floor tile, meaning that path is bad.
