Samoflange is an Amulet in Remnant 2. When equipped with the Samoflange, any direct damage received from enemies, as well as any additional damage within a 2-second window, is reduced by 60%. However, once the defensive buff expires, the wearer becomes more vulnerable, and all incoming damage is increased by 15% for a duration of 10 seconds.

The Drzyr have endured and overcome countless tribulations in the search for life beyond our own. Alepsis-Taura was the apotheosis of an entire species and all that it had dreamed, hoped, and achieved. In these terms, I can fathom the Seekers' decision. For where else could we have gone?

People keep saying this is good on light builds, but if you are getting hit on higher difficulties with a light build 99.9% of the time this isn't going to save you. Honestly this feels like it fits better with an already tanky build that can take the temporary damage reduction, or maybe a lifesteal build to give them a moment to recuperate some of the damage.

Doesn't seem to reduce damage of the initial hit, so it reduces only consecutive hits done in 2secs after the initial hit as of now. Idk if it's a bug or intended, but now really worth taking in this condition.

        • Pretty good for damage reduction and Light-weight build. With this equipped, even with only 20%+ DR, most attack in Apocalypse can't kill you instantly (At full Health of course).

Seems bugged in a good way, the damage reduction feels to be way more than a flat 50%, it might be calculated before difficulty damage hikes or something. Using it on nightmare and it feels more like 90% reduction. Likewise the 15% debuff feels higher too, but on nightmare at 50 weight you feel about as sturdy as paper anyway. Worth it IMO
