While a Shield is active, gain 20% damage and 4.5% of base dealt as Lifesteal.

Difference Engine is an Amulet in Remnant 2. Difference Engine is a cold and precise amulet that enhances damage and lifesteal while a shield is active.

The costodian does not fear death, as by its very nature it has never known life. The ancient Drzr once relied upon insticts-the needs of the flesh. Again and again, we surpassed ourselves until there was nothing to surpass. But I now see it as the shame it was: we forsook the wisdom of our bones.

Not sure if this thing works. I tried combining this with Tightly Wound Coil and a bow, which correctly generates 10% hp shield after every shot, yet the damage remains the same against the practice dummy. But if I just pick something like Stone of Balance, the damage goes up by 7% as advertised.

The wording is always a bit wonky on these I feel. Usually it says "20% to ALL damage" or something. Is this referring to all damage types? And what "base" is meant here regarding the lifesteal? Does anyone has answers to this?
