One-Eyed Joker Idol is an Amulet in Remnant 2. With the One-Eyed Joker Idol, your neutral backdash conjures a Magic Card that lasts for a brief moment. Absorbing enemy damage with the Card grants you a significant boost of 25% Critical Chance for a duration of 5 seconds. However, be mindful that the neutral backdash will consume an additional 15% Stamina.
The Fae have always been a facetious race, though their sense of humor comes across as...savage to some.

The amulet says enemy damage, but you can just proc the card yourself with a melee attack to get the buff. I tried shooting it but it didn't work. Still somewhat mediocre as its only 25% crit chance for 5s.

There are 4 total cards: Neutral, Imposter, Horned, Joker. Neutral leads to a room with enemies, Imposter leads to the quest item needed to continue and ends the event, Horned leads to a corrupted elite which awards the Misfortune mutator, and the Joker leads to the One-Eyed Joker Idol. The Horned and Joker cards are not guaranteed to be in the set. So long as you don't retrieve the quest item you can retry the event till you've seen all the cards.

I got the amulet when I picked the "joker door" the 1st time, maybe its random for the joker? idk

During card event, there is a chance for a joker card to appear, if it doesnt appear pick a random door, if it has the mask the leave, if not finish the "mimic/trap" room and back out, then repeat until you see a joker card appear and follow it, the amulet will be inside the joker cardroom

If you pick the "correct" room (with the mural piece), you can immediately back out without picking up the quest item and make another attempt. Just look for the red glowing item if that happens.

This is wrong it's not random, you fight an aberration the first time, and the second time you get the amulet, you need to follow the two face card like 6 times so you don't pick it, and always pick the evil looking joker card
- Anonymous
You can hit the card it leaves behind with any melee weapon to gain the critical increase chance.

If the joker card does not show up pick a failed card to fail the event. Once you complete the failed room you will be able to do the event again.
