An extremely accurate, high-tech pulse rifle which shoots quick three-round bursts. |
Pulse Rifle is a Long Gun and one of the Weapons in Remnant 2. Pulse Rifle is a high-tech weapon known for its extreme accuracy and quick three-round bursts. It thrives in medium-range engagements, striking a balance between accuracy and rate of fire to provide effective and efficient combat performance. Remnant 2's Pulse Rifle is highly praised as a very good weapon.
Caid Jaru, the head of House M'Ertal, held annual seminars espousing the advantages of new weaponry innovations and identifying gaps in their current arsenal. These seminars might have been sensible had we encountered even one enemy in all our travels.”

Remnant 2 Pulse Rifle Notes & Trivia
- The Phetyr maintained a wide variety of weaponry—too wide, if you ask the other Drzyr. Distinctions between things like automatic, semi-automatic, selective fire, etc. were lost on all but those who "needed" such things.
- Long Guns are the primary weapon used by the player character, they are vital to defeating Enemies and Bosses and can be crafted from items dropped by them. They can also be rewarded from events, and some are sold by Merchants.
- Updated with the release of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Check Patch Notes for more information. Significantly Reduced Horizontal Recoil, and Slightly Increased Vertical Recoil.

Almost feels like fetid wounds was made for this weapon, damage of pulse rifle is nothing special, but it has good base crit chance and high accuracy, making it easier to apply the corrosive procs

trying to get an instance where i can get both pins is harder than apoc

You can save scum to get this (at least on PS5). It was not there the first time I opened the door. Reloaded my save and then it was present.

Man this thing needs a buff... running the same stuff for each, nothing really doing much for either so may as well be stock +19s, blackmaw beats this thing by like 200 DPS in my 2 benchmarks (dps per mag, and dps@10k). That's even using the 22m(?)(2nd from the right) target which is exactly pulses idea range, but 2m outside of blackmaws and it STILL beat it AND its fully automatic with maybe the only thing pulse rifle beats it at is less recoil but blackmaw at ~25m is totally manageable so that's kinda moot/niche. For the amount of trouble you need to go through to get this, vs. a free starter, is mindblowing how it's a downgrade from what I'm seeing, aside from MAYBE some ever so slight alpha-strike(burst) capability; That is, unless there is some specail interaction/combo i'm not aware of that blackmaw wouldn't be able to do/as well.

120 hrs of play and I've still yet to roll an instance of N'erud where I can get both pins to get this gun. Granted, I haven't actually being actively trying to reroll my Nerud over and over to get it, but you'd think I would come across it naturally by now.

Reroll N'Erud Seeker's Rest.
Run straight to custodian and drop down behind statue on left, go right and down elevator, check console to ensure 2 missing pins. If less than two missing pins reroll and try again.
Once you have a console with two missing pins you are guaranteed to have Terminus Station and Dormant Nerudian Facility side dungeons.
At the end of Terminus Station go right at the checkpoint under some hanging tubes, up the ladder and around to drop down into the last train car. Here you will find Pin 1.
At the end of Dormant Nerudian Facility you will find a glyph, leave the dungeon via the checkpoint crystal and reenter to use glyph on door on the left and grab Pin 2.
Place pins at console under custodian to open two doors behind the console for the pulse rifle.

This is Ruin's child, but it's a rifle, has no scope, and allows other mods to be used.
I miss Ruin, but I'd be a damn liar if I said this wasn't a workhorse weapon! I rarely take this weapon off at this point!

Everyone that's struggling to get this gun, in theory you should be able to clip through the door by using an engineer turret and picking it up, still viable in the current pc patch, you can also skip to faelin/faerin and nightweaver in under two minutes using this method, I'll update in the reply if I can manage to get it consistently. If you don't know what I mean, please search it up, there a few videos about the method, it's viable in solo play as well!

the fastest way to farm this weapon is to rush to the Ascension Spire basement and check if you need 0 1 or 2 keys to remove the barriers in the console. if you need 2 keys, you are set, go find them.

The gun wasn't there for me. I don't remember what I got, but after returning there to there being 0 loot, I am guessing I got scrap. I did see comments from others saying they got scrap when looting other weapons and rings in the game so that sucks.

Wish this gun and other guns had a full auto option. Destiny 2 eventually did it for all the weapons, which has been a huge QoL improvement.

Might not be THE best gun in the game but very satisfying to use and have a nice feel to it

For some reason Prismatic Driver can change the lights on the Pulse Rifle blue. I know not what to do with this information... but I do like blue.

I always love burst fire weapons in games, but they rarely do them justice and often suck.
This is not the case with this gun, it absolutely melts everything and is really satisfying to use
- Anonymous
wonder if this gun does some kinda special damage that can be altered by those damage rings.
Besides the 3 round burst, it seems to be almost identical to the Blackmaw.
- Anonymous
If you’re playing multiplayer, you can use the high five emote to clip through the barrier without using any ciphers and core
- Anonymous
Such a massive pain in the ass to get, heavily dependant on having multiple random things happen.
Pretty damn good though.

You will need BOTH key item to get the weapon. If you only have 1, then it will always be the amulet, no matter which key item you got. If the console under the Custodian only has 1 slot for key item, then your world only spawn 1 dungeon. If the console has 2 slots, then there're both dungeons in your world.
Room location: the hall of statues right b4 you get into the Custodian's big room, behind one of them is a hole on the ground. Drop down, then you'll find a vendor machine. To both side are elevators, one goes up, another goes down. Go down to get to the room with the console that require key items.

Got both memory core II and decorum cipher in the same campaign. Put them both in at the same time, but there was only one door and no pulse rifle.
- Anonymous
Done two rolls of N'erud, one requiring the Decorum Cipher and one requiring the Memory Core II. Both rolls got me the amulet.
It's either RNG on which item you get when there's only one door/key or you require both doors to get the Pulse Rifle. More testing needed.
Tip when trying to get this weapon: You need both memory core and decorum cipher to unlock this weapon, when rerolling adventure world for this weapon, rush immediately to the area beneath the custodian if there are two purple barriers/two slots, then the map has both terminus station and dormant n'erudian facility spawned
- Anonymous
Be sure to visit the Custodian room first before checking other dungeons, If a memory storage device is missing (those rod looking thingy) the corresponding dungeon will guaranteed to be available. If the left one is missing that means the Dormant N'erudian Facility is available (for the Core Booster amulet). If the right one is missing that means Terminus Station is available (for this Pulse Rifle). Though very rarely, both can be available at the same time!
- Anonymous
Worth noting. You are not guaranteed to get a roll that has both the Pulse Rifle and Core Booster. Took me 15 rolls to get both to be available, I was also lucky enough on that same roll to get the Terminus Station in the Phantom Wasteland and Dormant N'Erudian Facility in the Timeless Horizon. So you can get both on the same roll, however it's rare.
- Anonymous
I did this on both rerolls and no pulse rife I don't know what I am doing wrong.
- Anonymous
They didn't, you actually need to get two barriers at the Custodian room and you'll need both key as a result (and both events will be available)
- Anonymous
YOU HAVE INVERTED THE CIPHER DECORUME AND THE MEMORY CORE II!!!! I WAS WRONG BECAUSE OF YOU!!
Sad this weapon could have been designed a lot better, less bulky for starters.
