The Postulant grants these to those who can defeat him. None know why. Some suspect that the game is mere preamble—that perhaps the true game is what its players do next.

Royal Hunting Bow is a Long Gun and one of the Weapons in Remnant 2. Royal Hunting Bow , granted by the Postulant, proves effective at medium range. It offers a lethal and silent approach to eliminate enemies with precision, making it an ideal choice for engagements that require calculated and precise shots.

"It was a grave risk to go after the One True King. This was known, but the stakes were thought high enough justify the risk.

Alas that we did not calculate the consequences ofsuccess."

Is a bow considered a firearm?
There are rings that give bonuses for firearms and I don't know if it applies to the bow.

Compared to Crossbow, the damage numbers on this Bow actually lie, like all Bows. The damage number displayed is the damage of a normal, uncharged shot, which you rarely ever loose. Charging and Perfect Charging do quite a bit more damage, easily out-damaging the Crossbow as the other "Low Sound Profile", modable Long Gun. Also this weapon LOOKS fantastic with pretty much any Mod you throw on it. In short, Royal Hunting Bow > Crossbow for the Silenced Long Gun approach. More versatile firing speeds/damage, faster reload. Only reason to use the Crossbow is if you HATE having to charge shots and literally never want to.

Ah, yes. In a game where guns are king, the Bow is the God that they swear fealty to. Seriously, love this weapon and all the crazy synergies you can make with it.

Don't care how good or bad this weapon is, the modified designs it receives when you put a mod on it are all peak. I just wish that the Yaesha and Root Earth versions had something to differentiate them.

I like pairing this with detonation trigger synergizing mods like tremor or space crabs and starshot. Bows seem to generate an unholy amount of mod power on perfect draw weakshots, So I can get a space crab and every weakshot with stone of malevolence.

Run this with the Tightly Wound Coil and the Generating Band and you get free health regen whenever you want. Every time you shoot you get a shield and regen 3% health per second, same with other single shot weapons.

So much fun and even moreso with the archer ring. Getting the timing right and the feel of a perfect shot is so satisfying. The option to fire quickly for faster damage is great too. Slightly faster shots than the nemue bow. Been having a blast as invader/hunter with this

Good sidegrade to the Widowmaker. A full charge does a bit less than a Widowmaker shot, but a perfect release does more. The arrow flies faster than any other projectile weapon I've used so far. Uncharged shots can come out with decent speed.
