Remnant 2 Polygun Notes & Trivia
- __description__
- The Description for the Polygun is hexadecimal. When translated, it reads ' UNABLE TO LOAD OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS "NOT FOUND" '
- Polygun's attached mod has text written in ASCII. When translated, its name is ' MOD ' and its description is ' TOGGLE COMBAT FIRING MODES '

With base game being Archon as it's secret, The Awakened King being Anguish, a "Hand gun" and The Forgotten Kingdom giving us this Polygun a Long gun as a secret hunt reward, might one assume the 3ed DLC might give us a Melee weapon as it's secret hunt reward? (Secret Hunt/Datamine, you know.)

Not sure what the note about the hexadecimal description is about, I haven't seen that one yet. My description seems randomized whenever I unequip it but no codes yet. I've gotten "CAUTION: Please read the service manual before operating this device. Safety Goggles Required." & "Unstable Modification Detected..." & "WARNING ALL DATA WILL BE LOST Proceed with format (Y\N)? _" & "Do not cook fish in the microwave! - everyone" & "Keep your Security Lanyard on you at all times. A replacement will incur an automatic deduction from your paycheck. - Human Resources" & " >> CATASTROPHIC FAILURE IMMINENT" & "ERROR: Unable to load description" & "Tutorial Complete!". After these I've only gotten repeats.

I never had to destroy 13 cubes to get it. Only the ones to get access to it. So every other cubes to destroy are a troll from the devs or have a different utility.

So I gotta play a ****in madden field goal mini game every time I reload this goddamn thing? What kind of **** is that? The rusty repeater is a better weapon than this.

There is no issues with touching the World Stone or traveling.
It's purely by dying that it resets. I tested this with the first cube you shoot. You can shoot them and head to the ward, no issue. If you take Liquid Death after shooting it, you'll see it obviously respawn.
Even teleporting around the Labyrinth doesn't affect it.
Die Hard, Black Cat's Band and Thaen Fruit do not trigger a reset.
Not exactly important but I thought I might as well let people know.

I built this thing up as much as I could, but it genuinely just sucks...

It's just bad, I hope they do like the savior and release a corrupt version

Just started playing the game today. Completed a world and got really confused about the Labyrinth world. Just ran around awhile went underneath stair for a jump puzzle and found this thing.

Another hard-to-get lackluster gun that is more trouble than it's worth. It's too complicated for its almost zero positive return. You ruined the corrupted savior and now we have this pile of polygonal garbage

i've done all the cube n the right order but the gun was not there and i'm now stuck in that place because the portal is not opening

1,000 hours of Dead by Daylight skill checks has prepared me for this weapon.

There is currently a way to skip most cubes. If you go to the "11th" cube/first cube in the guardian room and shoot it/where it's supposed to be with an explosive weapon the platform will still appear. The proceed to destroy the last two cubes for the gun.

How do people even find this without a tutorial the whole process looks so complicated same with Archon and Anguish.

Numbers translate to the following:
Couldn't load instructions
"Not found"
Mod - Toggle combat firing modes

Deals more damage in shotgun mode..... less then Fords scatter gun and spark fire... infinite ammo is a nice perk sure, and top heavy works permanently on it. But still it got to reload and 9n top play this reload mini game. My hat is off to anyone who can successfully use it, but for average players essentially wasted time.

For anyone wondering, this gun has two fire modes, single shot and shotgun. It also has infinite ammo.
The gun has an arc that fills up as you fire it as well as 3 diamonds under the arc. If you overfill the arc you get shocked, the diamonds empty (if filled) and the gun has to cool down. (and you get a debuff saying you're using it incorrectly.
When you reload a little arrow moves along the arc from right to left. If you press reload again when the arrow is within a white section in the middle, it will finish the reload animation early as well as fill up one of the diamonds under the arc. The white area is bigger (easier to hit) the more full the bar is when you hit reload
To begin, 2 shots fills up the arc. For each filled in diamond you get another shot before the arc fills up. (5 shots with 3 filled diamonds). If you do another perfect reload with 3 full diamonds you get 4 seconds of unlimited fire before it starts filling up the arc again.
If you dont fire for 3 seconds the diamonds reset one at a time. Switching between single shot and shotgun does not reset the diamonds.
So the idea here is to ramp up with perfect reloads until you get bursts of unlimited fire and keep always perfect reloading

You need to shoot 13 Cubes, 12 located in The Labyrinth.
They need to be shot in sequence.
First 9 are in The Labyrinth.
10th is in the Backrooms.
Last 3 are in the Keeper's room, past the guardian cube, under the stairs.
You cannot die or touch a World Stone or rest at a checkpoint, otherwise it resets.

Oh man, I’m excited. This looks awesome. I gotta to know how to find this.
What's better then investing half of your attention to play reload minigame during the heat of combat or havely underperforme damage output of this gun. Bravo GunfireGames, you really outdone yourself with this
