Huntmaster M1 is a Long Gun and one of the Weapons in Remnant 2. Huntmaster M1 , modified from old hunting rifle parts, is a weapon built for long-range engagements. Its accurate and high damage per shot, combined with the high-powered scope, enables precise shots at extended distances, ensuring targets are taken down from afar.
This rifle may not look like much, but don’t let its appearance fool you. When you're out there taking down the Root from afar, looks don't matter as long as thejob gets done.

dont like this one. feels inferior to the wrangler 1860 by a longshot. i notice if the ads is too high on the controller you have a very hard time getting those headshots. with the wrangler i can get them way easier without moving too much on the reticle. needs a buff but that can be fixed with a mutator... which kinda limits what you can do with this rifle as compared to the wrangler

Funny thing that the cocking handle swaps sides when you toggle view while aiming

Basically the Remnant 2 version of the hunting rifle. Slightly nerfed but now has a mid range scope. Good gun if you are great at weakpoints
the bargain bin Particle Accelerator at home :)
if you main PA in 1 you will transition well into this rifle. it's also a starter weapon
a lot of comparisons between this and the hunting repeater.. let's put aside the numbers on paper and look at field situations:
there are ads out there that dies to a single weak spot hit to this gun, as opposed to TWO hits from the repeater. we all know that overkilling is tactically unsound, not only do you waste the extra ammo, you also waste time, mental focus and AMP.
this might not sound like much but on higher difficulties the sooner you can remove a threat the higher your survivability. not having to deal with an extra target frees up escape paths and firing lanes.
plus this has a scope, you can put down targets before they are even engaged. this is a huge boon.
your reload is also quicker (vs an emptied repeater) as you reload the entire mag.
if you are a confident shooter that knows you can hit your targets, consider this over the repeater.
