Secret Passages:
- In the bottom left room there is a door that can only open when you occupy the space in the Postulant Event. In order to pass through the first door you require an ally to pass while you play the Postulant Event. After they have passed through the first door move the piece away from the from the bottom left to access the Game Master's Pride
Events:
Postulant Event
Postulant Event is a puzzle which is presented to players in a chess-like manner. Players have to defeat the Postulant, a silent statue in a 3-in-a-row game. By Winning a door will open behind the statue that reveals the Royal Hunting Bow. When one of your pieces occupy a space the doors will open in the corresponding room. In the top right is the Fae Royal Set and in the bottom left is the Game Master's Pride.
Losing a round of the game will apply one full stack of Cursed. Using the Hex Ward ring will prevent this, effectively giving you unlimited tries.
- Note that the Game Master's Pride can only be obtained in multiplayer.
Remnant 2 Postulant's Parlor Walkthrough
The Postulant's Parlor is one of several locations that can appear as one of the three optional areas in a run through Losomn.
The main part of the map consists of nine rooms in a grid pattern. At the top is a tenth room, where you will find the Postulant. A silent creature that plays a game in a chess-like board, in which you have to line 3 in a row. If he manages to do it, you will suffer the Cursed status. It will stack if you fail consecutively. If you manage to complete it, the door behind the Postulant will unlock and you will find a Royal Hunting Bow there.
Rooms will be locked or open based on black pieces on the board game. Any tile that has the black piece, the corresponded room will be closed. You don't have to win the game to open any door, just move the pieces and leave the game.
On the top-right room there is a set of Fae Royal armor to be found.
On the bottom left is a set a two doors where one opens the other is shut, behind both is the Game Master's Pride.
To open any door, you need to get white's piece in that corner, best done on multiplayer, so you can have a buddy just stand in that bottom left room while it opens.
Injectibles
Unlike most areas, the Postulant's Parlor is not procedurally generated. Therefore, none of the random injectible events can appear.

-The Stone of Malevolence ring is also in this area, in one of the rooms connected to the top right square. It was much easier getting everything in this area by having a friend play the game while I ran thru the map and directed where the chess pieces needed to go.
-Getting the Game Master's Pride does require co-op: it's in the bottom left room, and requires someone to be actively playing the chess game ~ when one door opens, the other closes. You have to pen the first door to the inner room, stand in the hallway, and then move your chess piece off to close the first door and open the second. Not possible to do without a friend.

The article is false. you can explore the locked room solo, You can leave the game during the play and it wont reset. leaving the black pieces on their locations and thus leaving the rooms you want to access open. So you can go into them solo. where the black piece is is always locked, So manipulate the board so that the black piece is not where you try to access then leave to loot and come back and repeat until you have the bounty. Then finish the game. If you lose the board resets etc.

For solo use engineer archetypes put turret in front the door and turn back ,stand in front of the turret then pickup turret you can bypass the door.

If anyone was confused you can enter all rooms as a solo player, -minus the special bottom left room for co-op, i cant figure out any solo way in there. Completed my map~ got all da loots

Being cursed five times and having a piece in the correct position does NOT open the room with Game Master's Pride for me.

one of the worst puzzles ive ever seen, you are at disadvantage from the start, the NPC will make same moves no matter what, so you are given one predetermined way of solving it but the issue isnt solving it whatsoever but getting the hidden rewards which are a pain in the ass to get

So what exactly does "OR acquired in single player after being cursed x5" mean? I went to the bottom left room with x5 cursed and nothing changed.

I came through a portal to Postulant's Parlor from Forsaken Quarter - I've never been to Beatific Palace.

Bottom left door only opens if a black piece is on the spot. Coop partner is needed to be there.

in the bottom left corner of the grid is a locked door, my buddy played the game, I explored the maze as the doors open and shift. its a double door that when open one the other shuts, behind both doors is The Game Master's signet, which halves healing, but shares healing and damage across players wearing the ring. A coop maneuver for a coop ring is actually pretty fricken cool!

sombody found a solution to opening the Left bottom door yet? (specially solo) or is it just bugged ?

In the bottom left room I received the game master's pride ring
tfw when you are focusing on a specific path to a door, and you accidently win :(

For solo's struggling with opening up the side rooms, you just need to get a white piece in the corresponding room and a path to get back to the room. You dont need another person there.

The lower left outer door doesn't seem to open? Even if there is a white pawn over there, the door is still closed

To get the ring in the bottom left room you need a friend one to open the door via the game board, and one to stand by the closed door. the bottom left door will close and that then opens the door further in which has the ring behind it, friend then can collect this ring for you.

How to solve the puzzle for the rooms --- White piece opens the closest connected doors to the room --- Black one does the opposite, so it closes them --- Empty Board slots opens the OUTER SMALLER rooms doors --- This makes some of the rooms next to impossible to enter solo

Any idea which spot correspond to X door, like a map, that tell you which white pieces placed in Y spot, open that specific door?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

bottom left corner not opening. I have won the (mini)game multiple times including with a diagonal from bottom left to top right and it still won't open. Perhaps linked to a lever or another event in the area?

Whites piece unlocks the closed door in the rooms. Black locks the whole room. No piece leaves the room open but the special door closed.
