Do the carried/turret versions count as explosions for the sake of items like detonation trigger?

Effectively the fantasy sci-fi version of a .50 cal sniper.
Slow firing, high recoil, long range and typically averages about 3.5-4K weakspot damage.
Very useful, especially on characters with limited ranged options or when trying to burst down bosses.
Incidentally, the turret mode
works great at keeping adds off you in boss fights, so you can focus on the boss.

Impact Cannon benefits from the AOE size increase trait while in turret mode

Figured I should mention this but the charge up time of the Impact Cannon while held as a heavy weapon is not affected by charge time reduction like with the Archer's Ring. Weapons with a similar mechanic of charge up time like the Deceit or Alpha-Omega are affected by the ring.
Attack Speed and reload speed do not affect the weapon either.

In held mode its a cannon in turret mode its a shockwave generator
Detonation Trigger and Amplitude Trait both affect the Impact Cannon in Turret Mode, making it a complete add clearing monster! Unfortunately neither seem to affect Carried Mode :(
