Honestly, I kinda wish we could change the firing mode of the flamethrower to also be able to manually lob balls of **** at enemies as well as the true flamethrower mode in turret mode so that way we can adapt to whatever situation it is. Maybe have it change modes when carried with X or scroll wheel with a slight animation when swapping and for turret maybe hold the skill button and press "X"/mouse wheel (weapon swap) right before it does the overclock animation. Something along those lines anyways. Lol

Throw some elemental damage boosting equipment and this thing absolutely shreds in both modes. It's a shame that turret mode has issues when targeting flying enemies.

This is bugged when targeting flying enemies while not held by the player. It just appears to shoot completely off target unfortunately. This is the reson I do not use this particular skill.

Flamethrower turret acts more as a napalm launcher firing a single powerful hit that applies a passable dot, it does turn into a flamethrower when held in your hand but unfortunately the damage is absolutely abysmal; in my case the "napalm shot" in turret mode did ~700 damage per shot firing every few seconds, where as the flamethrower ticked for under 100 damage - the damage ticks about once per second, extremely underwhelming

In turret mode it lobs flaming AoEs in held its the standard stream of flames
The aiming of the turret as fixed as of the latest patch, and the turret now kicks some serious ass.
