A beautiful pan flute lovingly crafted from metal and wood. The mouthpieces are worn from use and the wood is cracked in places. The stones affixed to each pipe are dimmed, but you sense a latent power within. You can't shake the feeling that there's some way to return this instrument to its original splendor...

Old Flute is a Crafting Material in Remnant 2. Old Flute is a required material to craft the Spirit Flute which unlocks the Invoker Archetype. It is a brand new Crafting Material debuting in the Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.

Old Flute can be found at:

  • Yaesha - Ancient Canopy, in a secret room at the lowest area;
  • After lowering the giant statue, head to the lowest parts of the area. You will find a room filled with sand and timed arrow traps. Near the two piles of sand at the right corner, you'll see a bright circle. Stand still between the two sand piles for roughly 5 minutes:

      Genuinely horrible design. This isn't a fun community effort experiment like they did with Archon where people did their best to figure out a mystery. No, this is locking a major sold DLC feature behind the most obtuse, random, "just look it up online bro" non-puzzle that there ever was. Go to random spot in a hostile area designed to make you look in the other direction. Afk there for five minutes until you die. Wondrously poor.

        Whoever in the dev team thought this was a clever idea should be declassed. Going in a random specific place, in a random specific room while having a curse (seems light since you get it in the story, but you can reach the sandpit even right before meeting Lydusa for the first time) and above all having to stand still there for MINUTES with no hinds anywhere at all about any of this to unlock a class?! I love this game to the heart, but things like this should be banned away from Any videogame.

          If i wasn't hinted that there was a secret in the sand room, only to eventually give up and look it up, i NEVER would have found this.
