The Doe exuded a feeling of peace and safety. This tissue, however, harvested from its corpse, feels... oppressive. Malevolent even.

Crimson Membrane is a Crafting Material in Remnant 2. Crimson Membrane is a craftable material harvested from the fallen Doe, exuding an oppressive and malevolent aura. The Doe and the Ravager's eternal struggle represents the delicate balance of life and death.

Nowhere in all of Yaesha is the Balance better represented than through the Doe and the Ravager. Indeed, some Vaunnt believe they are the very source of the Balance. These two have been locked in endless struggle for so long that none have even considered what might happen should one finally fall.

Remnant 2 Crimson Membrane Usage

Crimson Membrane can be used to craft the following items:

How to Get Remnant 2 Crimson Membrane

Crimson Membrane can be found at:

  • Dropped by the Ravager in Yaesha, but only if it is allowed to feed on the Doe partway through the battle. Do NOT kill the Doe yourself, and beware of hitting it while fighting the Ravager.

Remnant 2 Crimson Membrane Notes & Trivia

So here's my experience getting this item:
My first run of Ravager vs. Doe was on campaign mode. I chose to heal the Doe, so I got the antler.
My second run was in adventure mode, and I decided to kill the Doe. Got Ravager's Mark.
Third run, adventure mode. I wore the Ravager's Mark. I didn't talk to Bedel, but I did cause the Ravager v. Doe statue nearby to move. Speed ran to the boss fight, and my intention was to get the Crimson Membrane. Running Summoner + Gunslinger, decided to change to Challenger + Gunslinger for the fight. I boop the Ravager's snoot and retreat, making absolutely certain nothing happens to the Doe. Ravager summons ads and I get wombo comboed, but Challenger prime perk saves me. I get the Ravager's health down and he goes over to eat the Doe. I wait until he comes back to fight me to make sure the Doe is dead and everything is as it should be. I open up on him and take him down. I get the stupid Maw! I know for a fact I did everything right, so something is wrong here. As an aside, I take off the Ravager's Mark and replace it with the Chains of Amplification. I go check on Bedel. He talks to me like everything is fine.
Fourth run, adventure mode, wearing Chains of Amplification before I even reroll the world and keep it on until the end of the run. Fast forward to the boss. Running Summoner + Gunslinger again, and this time I stay that way. Start the fight and back away from the Doe. Ravager summons ads and I get wombo comboed again. Respawn at crystal and run back into the boss room. Ravager is aggressive, and the Doe is present and alive in her spot. I beat up the Ravager until he goes to eat the Doe, I wait until he's finished, and then I kill him. I get the Membrane.
I don't know if this is any help, but there's definitely an issue with getting the Maw instead of the Membrane. Based on what I've read from others, I'm beginning to wonder if wearing the Ravager's Mark is the cause?
Also, I know this is dumb, but since the Membrane's description talks as if it was harvested from the Doe's body, I checked her after getting the Maw on run 3, but of course, it yields nothing. I left the lair and came back in, and she was gone, with nothing left behind. So...yeah. It drops from the Ravager.
If you wanted the Membrane but got the Maw, reroll and fight the boss again, taking care to let him eat the Doe. It stinks, but I did get the Membrane on the second attempt, so don't despair.

Just a note, I think starting Yaesha with the Ravagers amulet equipped accepts the Ravagers pact immediately making it impossible to get the Crimson Membrane on that world. You will know something is up because the first NPC will be upset and refuse to speak with you in the Forbidden Grove

It also matters about the dialogue before the decision, I was trying to get the merciless and ran through dialogue. So don’t accept the pact Ravager offers before or u just get the melee weapon Feral judgement. Then shoot Ravager let eat doe

This boss encounter has 3 different outcome, if you use a dragonheart to revive the Doe , you get the red doe staff ( pretty op weapon) , if you kill the doe yourself , you get the ravagers mark ( a necklace that increases damage to bleeding targets like in remnant 1) , and lastly for this drop you need to shoot the ravager without choosing , he will then be enraged and kill the doe itself. giving you the gun

totally correct, you get it from engaging ravager at once, try to lure it far from the doe, in mid combat, i mean you should try to not to make a speedrun of this boss, ravager will charge to the doe and eat it, I call this second phase, and from here you are free to kill the ravager and obtain this item. gg guys
