With the spam talking method, that piece of garbage took 20 minutes to start giving me "it's almost done" dialogue, and another 3 minutes after that to finally give me the dang thing.

New information: If you are waiting for the 'Meat shake' to be distilled and accidentally give the chef the egg to make instead, upon sucessfully completing that ingredients end outcome, you will discover that progress on the 'meat shake' was neither paused, nor lost, he simply awards you the meat shake right away afterwards (Assuming you've been playing the game for longer then 90 minues)

what a piece of **** quest this is . it took me like hour to get this working . try this : talk to him a LOT (to triger his cooking of the meat shake talk to him while his ***** of a GF is sleeping , i think you can triger her going to sleep if you talk to her a lot,and the guy) , then warp away and time skip hour , do this until you get no new voice lines ,talk to him when hes cooking or siting THEN you have to anoy the **** out of him by talking to him every time you get the option , lyterali spam talk him . after going few times back and forth to sit and cook he schould give it to you if you keep it up (turn off the game sound and lysten to podcast /video meanwhile lol )

Give the leftovers when the girl’s sleeping and he’s cooking.
You’ll get the meatshake once your active concoction expires ( can someone confirm?)
My lobby got it the moment all timers of the concoctions of all players ran out.

What I'm about to describe may be vague but it worked-- I simply spammed talked to him. 1st he was on the pot for a few minutes, then he sat down for a few minutes, then back on the Pot and the moment he got back on the Pot the dialogue came up for him to request the Feastmaster's Leftovers. I'd say it was maybe 9 minutes max. What I did notice is that Alice (the woman that watches him cook/occasionally banters with him) was NOT there when the dialogue option appeared and he was on the Pot; and with his initial dialogue quietly requesting a sinewew recipe like he didn't want to be heard (potentially by Alice).

I have reason to believe this is the trigger-- Alice must NOT be present by Duane while he's cooking; Duane must be at the Pot (alone) when you chat with him.

Man, this is the worst mechanic in game. At least with Alepsis-Taura you know that you have to wait at least 24h and you can play normally meanwhile.
Here nobody knows how long does it takes and what are actually the triggers.
Wasted more than an hour he is still telling me that "it's almost done", "need to cool off" etc.

What worked for me was talking to both Duane and Sarah every time he cooks and sits down, for about 30 minutes, in one sitting WITHOUT interacting with the crystal or other save/load states. Such a pain.

Just want to say. I only talked to him whenever he was at the cooking pot. I did this for 30 minutes, and nothing. After talking to him when he was sitting down (only talked to him 5 or 6 times when he was sitting total). He immediately gave me the Meat Shake next time he went to the cooking pot.

I think you gotta talk to him some when he is sitting too.

Quest seems bugged. Gave leftovers to Duane. After a few minutes i got the leftovers back and the meat shake. But vendor does not sell it afterwards.

This seem very RNG based.
I talked to him for 4m and immediately got it on my first character.

On my 2nd character I did not have such luck and forwarded the system time without success. Talked to him for over 20m before getting it.

Alice has to be asleep and Duane has to be standing at the cooking station for you to be able to give him the Feast Master's leftovers.
Then wait 45-60 min (I went out of ward 13 and forwarded my clock 1 hour) and then just stand by the cooking station and spam talk to him whenever hes at the cooking station, he will walk up to it from time to time. Took me about 20-30 minutes to get the Meat Shake from him after that.

Getting this is ridiculous, its been 12hrs and still haven't gotten it, I've tried talking to him and watching him, running adventures, and running campaigns. He actually said at one point and I quote

"It's done, I just like to let it "GET HAPPY" before digging in"

I got the leftover in adventure mode but Duane won't take it from me, probably a bug. Switch back and forth between campaign and adventure and he finally take it.
Now I'm waiting for him to finish cooking.

Lots of players reporting waiting days for him to finish cooking (and are still waiting). Notably, a lot of them are playing in the world (campaign/adventure). Most players reporting getting it successfully after a few hours said they spent the entire time watching him cook in Ward 13 and talked to him intermittently.
