- Can be found on a dead body in Timeless Horizon in N'erud, across from the Spectrum Nexus (In the same direction if you were to draw a line from the elevator to the door to the Spectrum Nexus)

If you head to the sides of the map in N'erud, your character will suffer and start vomiting while the status effects' bar fills.
Roll and jump towards a platform where you will find a body, it contains the Technician Set.

Some Mist prevents the instakill status from starting. Useful if you have alchemist.

Explorer's "Fortune Hunter" skill can also detect the Body/Corpse too. So all you have to do is keep running on the map edge until you spot the body silhouette.

if you roll continuously in the fog, the vomit stagger won't happen which greatly helps when trying to find this armor.

Fextra has one part consistent with where I found the tech set + alien device and that is that the passageway is in fact near the edge of world along the blight fog and the passageway was the same shape.
However, be advised that Timeless Horizon also spawns this passageway as well and I found it opposite of where the main story dungeon tower was.

Found it at Timeless Horizon (If you're playing adventure, you'll need the Seekers refuge start)
It spawns in a hidden path inside the dangerous mist and you will most likely while grabbing it.
Look for any narrow paths while hugging the no-no zones, run in, have a coughing fit, there will be a ledge to jump across, and boom, armor.
Subsequently jumping down to the left will give you the item needed for the engineer archtype.
