Secret Passageway in Ashen Wasteland - How to get the Reaping Stone, Steel Katana and Dendroid Set
You can find a small gap in the Ashen Wasteland area, which leads to a room that heads upwards.
Once you enter, enemies will spawn. Climb up and jump to the other side. You will find a gap in which you can fall, do it.
Move towards the end of the area to find a Ring called Reaping Stone.
Before falling into the gap, head to the other side of the platform and jump to the crumbled column on the entrance.
This will lead to a secret area in which you will find a Steel Katana and the Dendroid Set, composed of the Dendroid Mask, Dendroid Chest, Dendroid Grips, and Dendroid Leggings.

Can't believe all my runs i've been to Root Earth never bothered to find this set, it's incredibly easy to find! Dope looking set too!

best light armor, must have for light roll, make the final boss a lot more manageable
This is in the ruins **IMMEDIATELY** beneath the Ashen Wasteland Big-crystal. Look for a gap in the boards to the left as you trigger mobs spawning on your right from above. Clear the trash. Go up the ramps on the left, hop across from the left-most side as you entered to the right most-side. Do not hop down the hole before you (unless you need the ring). STAYING ON FLOOR 3, head towards the "entrance" and line up a jump to get on top of that cement wall sticking into the room. The tricky part: stick the landing on the cement wall sticking in the "doorway" of the room. If you come at it 90 degrees you will roll off. Try nailing it at a sharper angle so you roll towards the opening while staying on top. You are now standing on top of the wall that the mobs you first triggered spawned on. Walk down that wall back outside on the left in the pit are the goodies. https://imgur.com/mIIGv9B
