Return to Lydusa is a Quest in Remnant 2. Return to Lydusa begins after obtaining the Cherished Fracture from the large Pan Statue in Luminous Vale. There are 2 ways to complete this quest to earn different rewards. Quests are the different objectives and missions the player character must achieve to complete the game. Quests move the story forward, lead you from world to world and make unknown Locations available. Some will also reward special Items or Weapons unique to them.

Remnant 2 Return to Lydusa Walkthrough
The quest Return to Lydusa begins after picking up the Cherished Fracture from the altar inside the Pan Statue in Luminous Vale, which is part of the Cursed quest. Locate the elevator behind the altar to the left, using this will take you outside The Bloodless Throne. However, don't present the Cherished Fracture to Lydusa, instead, look for the Goddess' Rest, which is located across the Pan Statue. You can go here by using the checkpoint to travel to Lambent Pass.
Upon entering Luminous Vale using the Lambent Pass Checkpoint, follow the left path and go past the tower with the overgrown roots. Once you see the stairs leading to the Pan Statue, make a left and walk straight ahead until you see this purple eye on the base of the tower. Then, proceed to the marker on the image below. This will take you to a building with an elevator access to Goddess' Rest.
Cross the wooden bridge and enter the dungeon to your right. The dungeon will be split into two and you need to follow the path on your left side. There will be enemies in every corner so try to go slow so you don't get overwhelmed. Running away from them is not ideal and they will likely be able to chase you throughout the map. You will reach this area where a root is reaching toward another landscape forming a bridge. Then, make a left where you will see a tall statue come into view. There's a statue near you that you can interact with by pressing the [▢] Button.
Take the stairs and go further below Goddess's Rest. The path here is very linear so it's fairly easy to navigate except for the presence of enemies. They will be spawning throughout the dungeon and will hunt you down. As you reach the foot of the tall statue you saw earlier, look for the stairs to your left to activate the Checkpoint. Then, go back out and continue walking toward the back of the tall statue. You will see another thick branch of a tree that extends upward. You can see the 2nd statue here on the left after climbing up the tree.
Once you have activated the 2nd statue, jump down on the right side of the platform to go back to the Checkpoint. Walk straight ahead until you get to the opposite side, then make a right to find the elevator. This will give you access to the inner chamber. Exit towards the left side, then go around the roots blocking the way here and exit through the doorway. The path here will open up to a waterfall that you need to walk past. More enemies will spawn in this location so you can take your time.
When the path splits into three, take the one in the middle where you will see stones lining up the path which will lead up to a thick branch. Follow this path ahead and then jump across the platform. Activate the 3rd statue here and then walk past the waterfall, and go to the right. You will see a second elevator here which gives you access to an area near the checkpoint in the middle. Now, return to the area to your left, while facing the tall statue. Cross to the other side by taking the bridge.
The path will open up to a beautiful lake next to a waterfall. Activate the 4th statue here, then go underneath the waterfall. You can go up the stairs to your right and follow the path ahead. It will take you to the 5th Statue. After that, walk back to the checkpoint in the middle where you see the image of a goddess on the wall. As you approach the door, it will automatically open revealing the statue of Lydusa inside.
Approach her altar and a cutscene will begin playing as Lydusa returns to her full form. Activating the 5 statue pieces all of her shards together, she will tell you how she lost Thalos. The priests took him away from her and made her obey their bidding so that Thalos would be saved. However, Lydusa later found out that the priests lied to her and that Thalos was already dead. This angered her and she remembered little afterward. With that, she will remove the stone-touch curse from your body and ask for your forgiveness.
Lydusa takes her leave in hopes of reconnecting with her sisters. After the cutscene ends, the quest Return to Lydusa will be marked as completed and she will leave you with a piece of her, a melee weapon called Mirage, and other rewards.

Alternatively, you can also choose to fight Lydusa if you return the Cherished Fracture to her at The Bloodless Throne without activating the 5 statues mentioned above. This will cause Lydusa to remain in her shatter-split form and will prompt a fight against her and a quest called Enraged Goddess. To do this, you first need to remove the blockage underneath the Pan Statue in Luminous Vale. You may check The Statue quest page for a walkthrough on how to do this.
After that, take the elevator to go up to the foot of the statue to activate the lever, and take the Cherished Fracture from the altar inside the inner chamber. With this, return to The Bloodless Throne and present it to Lydusa. After realizing that she will not be whole again, the quest Return to Lydusa will be marked as completed and the quest Enraged Goddess will begin. Defeating Lydusa will reward the Eye of Lydusa which can be used to craft Monolith.
