True Crimson Crown is a Head Armor and an Armor piece in Remnant 2. True Crimson Crown can be obtained by combining the Crimson Guard Shroud and the Crown of the Red Prince. It is a brand new Head Armor debuting in the Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.
The Red King's true name, you ask? Who's to say he was ever granted one? He was both to inherit a title, after all, and inherit it, he did! Of course, were he in possession of a true name, I would most certainly know it.

It's really dumb that it has negative blight resistance, since the original crown has positive. I wish it was either 0 of the other resistances or at least had the blight resistance.
It looks cool, but sheesh. I hope they buff/fix it.

The stats are terrible, it ways 4 more and all you really get is 1 extra armor and a net loss on status defense. I'll still wear it but, it's dumb.

After crafting this at Nimue, you can get the crown from rekilling Red Prince with the Assassin Dagger but not the helmet as he just has his regular dialogue when trying to speak with the Red Prince in the Chamber of the Faithless.
Not sure what is with people being unable to get it; Or if they aren't re-doing the grind to get Red Prince his tribute and killing True King again.
I can personally confirm, May 2nd of 2024; I can get the regular red hood again after making this with Nimue.
Specific parameters were an Adventure of Forlorn Coast, Gilded Chambers spawn, Easy difficulty (I was grinding for this, alright?), did not meet Nimue, Tribute to Prince, Immediately start a fight with the king (and wore Crimson set with the crown). I did have a memory leak, had to restart the game after killing the king. But, even wearing the Red Prince cosplay; I got the old crimson hood again with scrap for everything else.
Fun fact there is also special dialogue with Prince and King. Just don't kill the Prince if you accidently wore his cosplay set when offering tribute.
